This website was created to share a
new perspective of an abstract expression.
My name is Edgar Velazquez
and I was born in Mexico City.
Currently I live in Atlanta GA.
As a child I used to see a lots of pictures of beautiful geometric colorful forms all over my mind after an small insident with a basketball that hit me on the back of the head at school. A lost my consiones and fell to the ground for a minute ,when I recover a complete conscience, my eyes were able to see sharp details of current life, and also gave me a new gift. The only problem I had, was to be able to replicate what I was able see inside of my mind. I have a lots of ideas, minimum training an a huge fear of rejection that hold me down for a long time.
Being able to find in my head already finish new works, it makes it very helpful, is like having a map to a very hard place to get to.
Once I see the picture in my head I have to brake it down in to basic lines and then add the colors, it sounds easy but it can take sometimes a very long time, (most of the times for the lack of time).
To me painting feels like an adventure were I'm allow to create new worlds and printened those ideas in to canvans or paper.
